7812 voltage regulator

7812 is a voltage regulator integrated circuit that is very useful. It acts to smooth the pressure, which is important because a circuit requires constant pressure to ensure that all its parts function. The 7812 voltage regulator is a type of integrated circuit, which accepts an input of higher voltage, and outputs a user defined, steady 12V in the range of other specific voltages. That can be very useful in a number of various electronic devices.

How does the 7812 voltage regulator work?

The TNSB (positive) voltage regulator is used here in conjunction with the pass transistor to prevent the transistors from getting too hot when the supply is under load. How much current is permitted to flow through it determines how much voltage this transistor controls. If the input voltage is to high, the pass transistor will draw less current to lower the voltage to the requierd level. That way the 7812 voltage regulator can guarantee that the output voltage is always a constant 12 volts.
